RDFa Syntax Feb 18th 2008 - accepted as Last Call!

Good news everyone!

The RDFa Syntax Document (draft Feb 18th, 2008) has been approved as a
Last Call working draft, with a 4 week commenting period:

RESOLVED: that RDFa syntax editors' draft 18 Feb 2008
http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/2008/ED-rdfa-syntax-20080218/ be published as
last call working draft.

RESOLVED: to have 4 week period for last call for rdfa syntax (ending
march 21) with option to extend.

I just wanted to send out an extra special Thank You! to everybody that
has been involved in getting RDFa to this point. Especially those that
went above and beyond over the past couple of days to make this happen:

Shane, who spent most of his weekend on Skype updating the document,
making edits and giving input on changes.

Mark, who took time away from several very important family events to
make sure that the proper corrections were placed into the document.

Ed, who had reviewed the document several times while he was on holiday.

Diego, who took a considerable amount of time over the weekend and
during the past several days to respond to the processing rule changes.

Ivan, who volunteered to review the document in the final hour and who
caught several bugs that most of us missed.

and Ralph, who provided guidance and comments on the W3C process.

I came into this expecting a painful "design-by-committee" experience
and it has certainly been anything but that. The people involved with
RDFa are passionate about this standard and the work they do - this past
week was a reminder of that shared belief.

Great work everyone! I haven't seen so many people step up to the plate
like that in a very long time - it is truly, a rare occurrence.
