Hi, A short description: Name: Catherine Pelachaud Affiliation: University of Paris 8; http://www.iut.univ-paris8.fr/~pelachaud/ Short self-description: I did my PhD at the University of Pennsylvania on a model of facial expression related to the intonation of the voice for talking heads. Within the EU project MagiCster we started working on an Embodied Conversational Agent System, Greta. Since then, we have been continuing working in this system, in particular developing a model of facial expression, head movement, gaze and gesture. We have also implemented a model of gesture expressivity and emotional audio-visual speech model. Since 2002 I am at the University of Paris 8. I am part of the Humaine project where I lead the workpackage on Emotion in Interaction. Best, Catherine Pelachaud
