RE: Time Ontology outstanding Issue 6

Simon,

Let us use the OGC link then - looks good to me, and mentions time scales (TAI, etc) which is a good think. It is recognising that, in some ways, ISO8601 is just a notation.

The OGC service redirects to CSIRO.
I've pinged the admin there - it should be up again in the next day or two (was working last week when I checked a couple).

Dear All,

Here is an issue in the latest draft of the Time Ontology http://w3c.github.io/sdw/time/ for discussion and resolution.

As the OGC link does not resolve and produces a proxy error for me, I propose the DBpedia link as a concise description of the Gregorian calendar system.

I am open to the idea of using the OGC link for machinable definitions of the Gregorian calendar and time, but only if it can be fixed and will resolve in the next three months.
