The working group just has not got to that design pattern, we will eventually get to it.

What ARIA features does AblePlayer use?

I realize focus is shifting from WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices 1.0 to 1.1, but does anyone have an inside scoop on what happened to the "Media Player" design pattern in 1.0?  There's a block dedicated to this widget, but no content.
