So, making border=1 conforming > is either silly or useless. I consider your reply here as valid input on *which* values of @border should be conforming. The gist of CP1 is that border is vital. As such, border="0" should *perhaps* continue to be invalid. The main idea of CP1 is not to make as many pages as possible validate. But I believe you agree that it is an error of HTML5's Rendering section to say that border="0" should result in a 1px border. -- leif halvard silli
