ISSUE-32 (table-summary): Include a summary attribute for tables? [HTML 5 spec] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/ Raised by: James Graham On product: HTML 5 spec Raised on behalf of Joshue O'Connor HTML 4 has a summary attribute on tables allowing authors to provide a textual hint as to the purpose of a table. This attribute is not currently in HTML 5. This change may have an impact on accessibility and the so the attribute should be considered for inclusion in HTML 5.
