Re: chris@w3.org - I won't check what it has!!!

I received an empty email with no attachments from chris@w3.org and its size was 158 KB.
An old advice used to say: don't click on attachments from people that you don't know!
Just don't click on the link and you will be safe!

Yet, if you are using OUTLOOK or OUTLOOK EXPRESS, I recommend that you scan it now because OUTLOOK
attempts to download the attachment as soon as the e-mail is opened!!!

One more comment:
The e-mail was sent by chris@w3.org (which could be easily spoofed)
It was NOT sent by www-style-request@w3.org
www-style is just a list of addresses where OUR emails all reside.

As our FIRE ALARM note says: Don't Panic! :)
If you are using OUTLOOK, scan and clean your PC and install an antivirus software for next time!
If you have an antivirus software, you're probably on the safe side.
If you are not using OUTLOOK, just DELETE the e-mail without opening the attachment.
If you've opened the attachment already, scan and clean your computer!

If you have any doubts and need any help, please feel free to reply...

Best regards,

/Vix!
