this is ACTION-329 Does HTML provide mechanisms to describe the various media it can introduce? I *think* it does except for transcripts and alternatives for video posters: img - alt, longdesc canvas - content inside it video - track elements, but missing something for a poster, and linking of transcripts audio - track SVG: make it accessible directly... still work to be done there but that is why there is an SVG task force figure / figcaption CSS background images - No!
