Call for Consensus (CfC) to transition “HTML Media Capture” to Candidate Recommendation - deadline 5 April 2017

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to transition “HTML Media Capture” to Candidate Recommendation [6] - deadline 5 April 2017

https://w3c.github.io/html-media-capture/

The latest Editor's Draft of the HTML Media Capture [1] now ships in Safari 10.1 on iOS 10.3 [2] and implementation update is work in progress in Chromium [3]. It addresses issue #4 [4]. For the HTML diff and detailed changes vis-a-vis CR see the links at [5].

Please respond on the public list with support (even a +1 will do) or any concerns by 5 April 2017 (next week). Silence will be taken as support.

Upon agreement the CR draft should by updated by the editors to have an update to the status section listing the changes and linking to a redline from the previous CR (similar to that in [5]).

Thanks all for the work on this specification and implementations.

regards, Frederick
