Thanks for sharing. I think the charter looks great. Is the idea that the two task forces would operate in parallel? I would like to see the use cases and needs of the client API drive what is needed from the data model and its serialization(s), rather than the other way around. If the task forces are working in parallel I worry (a teensy bit) that this might not happen. But, if there are enough opportunities for talking across the task force boundaries (telecons), and people who are on both, this wouldn’t be a problem.  

Perhaps the task force information doesn’t need to be baked into the charter, and you can figure out how best to divide the work when it comes to doing it?
