RE: I18N issues for Widgets Spec [Was: Re: [Widgets] ASCII File names - request for comments]

Hi Art,

Sorry for the delay. I was actually hoping to discuss this with our WG
during the i18n telecon last night, but it was cancelled at the last minute.
I was hoping to recruit a couple of other people to be on the call.

I am copying this note to the i18n WG. I will personally pencil in your
telecon on the 5th in my calendar.

In the meantime, please write to www-international@w3.org to summarise the
issues (unless you need to keep member-confidential in which case use
member-i18n-core). www-international is public. This will help us come
prepared.

I18n WG folks, would you be able to attend the WAF telecon at this time?

Cheers,
RI

Richard - would you please let me know your availability on December

Hi Richard - the WAF WG's next Voice Conf is December 5,
tentatively at 10:00 Boston time.

Can you join us for that call? We can make the call earlier
if you'd prefer, especially since 10:00 Boston = 23:00 Brisbane time
(Marcos' time zone).

Please let me know ASAP. Thanks, Art

Hi Richard - Marcos is the Editor of the Web
Application Format WG's Widgets spec (NB. section 2.5):

			<http://www.w3.org/TR/widgets/>

We have some i18n-related issues we would like to
discuss with you and the I18N community e.g. characters to use in file
names, max file lengths, etc. Marcos agreed to summarize our issues.

Is www-international a good place to discussion the
issues?

			Thanks,

			Art
