The 'type' attribute

[Since 'q' is now proposed to be 'quote', element and/or attribute
renaming apparently may be considered if and when it makes sense.]

I have seen some calls for a 'type' attribute on <section>, i.e.

	<section type="front">...

(could possibly be applied to other elements). Whether or not such a
mechanism is put in place, we have to date been using the 'type'
attribute for <link> and <style> (and <script>) to specify the MIME
type. Would it make sense to be more explicit, i.e. ...

	<link rel="stylesheet" notation="text/css" ... />

  or

	<link rel="stylesheet" mimetype="text/css" ... />
