Here it is!
A version of rtftohtml that supports WORD 6.0 RTF files.
details here

Some of the documentation for the filter is pretty dated, I'll be fixing
that up
next.

Notes on rtftohtml 2.6

This release of rtftohtml contains support for RTF 1.2 (The version of RTF
that Microsoft Word 6.0 uses.) Once
again, Paul Dubois supplied new code for RTF 1.2 and for the UNIX and
Macintosh interfaces. (BIG thank you!)

This release once again restructures the source distributions. See the
INSTALL.README files for details.

On the Macintosh, the following changes were made:

If you start rtftohtml by dragging a file onto it, it will quit when the
translation is complete.
There is a much improved Icon.
Added a help option in the Apple Menu
Added a status window with a progress bar
Added a log-window. Translation progress (and error messages) can be
seen in this window (which is
   scrollable.)
Any TEXT file (not just those with .RTF extensions) can be opened from
the Open menu option.
Translation files (html-trans ...) can be kept in the folder "RTF Tools"
in the preferences folder in the system
   folder.
The source distribution contains MakeHeaders an application that builds
rtf.h and stdcharnames.h.
MakeHeaders is courtesy of: Wally Wedel (U S WEST Advanced Technologies)

On UNIX, the following changes were made:

The translation files (html-trans ...) will be looked for along the
following search path:
    1. Look in the current directory
    2. If the environment variable RTFLIBDIR is set, look in that
directory.
    3. Look in the same directory as the rtftohtml application.
    4. Look in the directory specified by LIBDIR (a compile time
definition.)
