Rendition Control
From Digital Publishing Interest Group
Text Alignment
- Use case
- User can pick a rendition of the content that best suits their reading preference. One user might prefer a fixed layout rendition of a work, while another might prefer a reflowable serialization, while another might prefer an audio rendition and a final a braille rendition. Assuming the publisher has provided two or more options, the user needs a way to specify their preference and have the preferred rendition automatically loaded. Any user should also be able to select from available options.
- Requirement(s)
- Method of identifying that multiple renditions are available. UA setting for preference and automatic detection. Interface to select from available renditions.
