  • Sign me up. I have implemented a knowledge server, that is scriptable in JSR233 languages. It’s nice enough, but all those languages are semantically naive.

    That said, the TinkerPop guys have lots of good implementations. But it’s a bit alien to most developers.

    We need to to help the current imperative community think in functional terms.

    Ideally, we should be able to build semantically constrained UIs that allow non-programmers to ignore syntax and get deep assistance with grammar.

    I am passionate that non-programmers should be empowered to curate and control their own application and knowledge spaces.

    They need to describe – what they you want. Not how to do it. They need tools.

    Clearly, they should be standards-compliant tools.
