To develop specifications for a data layer to capture user behavior/interaction pattern with digital properties.
The field of Digital Analytics, previously derived from purely the Web Domain, now covers any user interaction with digital properties whether through mobile, tablets, desktop or evolving future end user devices. The data for performing Digital Analytics is invaluable for improving user experience at the digital property and for the overall interaction with the brand itself. This specification seeks to simplify the acquisition of this valuable data and to simplify this aspect of digital property management for all brands.
A starting point for this specification was submitted to the W3C and is referenced below: Base W3C Customer Experience Digital Data Member Submission reference
