- Although the WebApps WG is chartered (http://www.w3.org/2012/webapps/charter/Overview.html#deliverables) to work on a config file format, there is no spec yet outside of Widget Packaging and Configuration, and an early proposal (https://people.mozilla.com/~anarayanan/webapps.html) by Mozilla.
