Call for Participation in Web History Community Group

W3C has launched the Web History Community Group

This group gathers people interested in the history of the World Wide Web: how it was invented, what was out there that made it possible, and what happened in its early years. Our main goal is to collect and preserve valuable information (software, documents, testimonials) before it is lost.

This group will not produce specifications.

In order to join the group, you will need a W3C account.

This group was originally proposed on 2012-05-23. The following people supported its creation: Max Froumentin, Matthew Turvey, Adrian Roselli, Shane Hudson, Alexandre Monnin.

If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org

Thank you,
W3C Community Development Team
