Semantic Web Activity News

The Semantic Web provides a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries. It is a collaborative effort led by W3C with participation from a large number of researchers and industrial partners. It is based on the Resource Description Framework (RDF).

POWDER Use Cases and Requirements updated

Just a quick entry in this blog to mark the publication of the POWDER Working Group's updated Use Cases and Requirements document. Originally published in May, the comments received lead to several relatively minor updates which are discussed in the group's own blog. A new version of the Grouping of Resources document and a First public Working Draft of the main Description Resources document are both expected this month. A primer is scheduled for later in the year too.
