W3C Organizes Workshop on the Future of Social Networking — 14 October 2008
W3C invites people to participate in the upcoming Mobile Web Initiative Workshop on the Future of Social Networking, to be hosted by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and ReadyPeople in Barcelona (Spain) on 15-16 January 2009. The goal of this workshop is to bring together industry actors to foster discussion andanalyse risks and opportunities of social networking industry, and to define plans for the future of the industry, including opportunities of creation of a W3C group to continue the discussion.
Position papers are due November 20. This workshop also offers a sponsorship opportunity for interested parties.
