EXI Measurements Note Errata

The EXI measurement note makes use of a so called XML Content Density metric that provides the ratio between XML text and markup. This metric is further used to classify the test data and to form analysis groups [1].

It has been detected that for two test-groups, namely SVG and OpenOffice, the calculated ContentDensity was inaccurate. The correct ContentDensity would not bring changes significant enough to move any SVG test-file into a different analysis group. For the OpenOffice case the correct ContentDensity would move four test-files from the analysis group "Large & highly structured" to "Loosely structured".

The EXI working group would like to note that this new information does not affect the conclusions that were drawn in this document nor does it impact the individual measurements.
