About the User Agent Guidelines 1.0

The User Agents Guidelines 1.0 was produced by the User Agent Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (UAWG) as part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The goals of the Working Group are discussed in the UAWG charter.

The normative version of the User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 is in English. If English is not your first language, volunteers are working to provide translations in other languages.

For information about translations of other W3C Technical Reports, please refer to the page about translations at W3C.

How to volunteer as a translator

If you wish to volunteer as a translator for a W3C specification, please write to w3c-translators@w3.org. In your message, be sure to include the URI of the specification you wish to translate and the language of the translation. Please do not indicate the "latest version" URI (http://www.w3.org/TR/UAAG10) but the URI of the specific document you wish to translate (the "this version" URI in the guidelines).

Translators must give W3C permission to republish the translated version and to allow readers to make copies without restrictions. The copyright details for translations of W3C specifications are explained in section 5.6 and section 5.7 of W3C's IPR FAQ.
