It may sometimes be appropriate to briefly introduce RDIG to an audience during a conference presentation. The following text is presented as an example of slides used by the RDIG Chair during conferences in the past few months. You may wish to use the text as is or modify it for your particular audience.
The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative’s Research and Development Interest Group is exploring accessibility issues in emerging web related research
Approximately every 2 months we explore a new topic via a virtual workshop, where invited speakers present and discuss their research.
The first workshop explored accessible collaboration technologies
Future workshops will includes topics such as the Semantic Web, 3D Visualization, Ubiquitous Computing
We are looking for both research topics and participants (open to non-W3C members)

Submit questions for discussion before or during a workshop
