Question: Is use of @alt too ingrained. If we allow a <legend> child element should we convert @alt into @legend.

Question: Should we allow the browser to extract the legend and description from the media resource (e.g. XMP metadata).

Question: A transcript should probably be different to a description as the former is supposed to be complete and verbatim, whereas description (to me anyway) implies and an abbreviated form, if we have a <transcript> element, how would it apply in an img?
