  1. ACTION-95: use of WCAG2ICT to refer to itself - as "this document" or "WCAG2ICT" (from asnowweaver@gmail.com on 2013-05-31)

Related notes:

I took a pass through the 2nd public draft and the collection of edits for the 3rd public draft. The current uses of WCAG2ICT as a reference to this document are limited to the Key Terms, Conformance, glossary, and SC 2.4.5. (Disclaimer: I didn't get quite all the way through edits for the 3rd public draft.)

In most cases, it wouldn't make sense to replace WCAG2ICT with "this document" because there are nearby references to "document" as in "non-web document". For example, in the conformance section, it states "WCAG2ICT uses a single document as the "unit of evaluation", as it is the best analog to a web page." It would be very confusing to say "This document uses a single document as the ...."

There are some places in the introduction, however, where it might make sense to replace WCAG2ICT with "this document". I will attempt to make a specific proposal later today.
