Minutes
Face to face meetings
This Task Force does not currently anticipate holding face-to-face meetings.
Current Work
The primary effort of this Task Force will be to develop documentation describing how to apply WCAG 2.0 and its principles, guidelines, and success criteria to non-Web Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). As part of this work, the Task Force will also review WCAG 2.0 Conformance in the context of how it might apply to non-web ICT. The resulting Working Group Note will include a success-criteria-by-success-criteria discussion of applying WCAG 2.0 to non-Web ICT, including their interface components and platforms, and the extent to which WCAG Conformance is meaningful to non-Web ICT.
Publications
The WCAG2ICT TF periodically publishes formal drafts of its documents to the W3C Technical Reports page. These documents progress through a series of stages (see How WAI Develops Accessibility Guidelines through the W3C Process) and the group seeks and responds to comments on these stable versions. Note that the output of this task force will consist of one or more W3C Working Group Notes and will not progress through all the stages of a formal specification.
WCAG2ICT publications are also available as editors' snapshots, which may be more current but are less stable than Technical Reports. These are generally used to prepare documents for review prior to formal publication.
