Overview
The Showcase Examples with Videos Task Force (Showcase TF) is a task force of the Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG). The objective of Showcase TF is to develop a series of Showcase Examples with Videos according to the requirements analysis developed by EOWG.
Approach
The work of Showcase TF will be supported by a video production company and includes the following activities:
- Expanding the details of the proposed scenario descriptions;
- Developing story boards, scenes, and scripts for the videos;
- Casting the characters and directing the raw videos filming;
- Ensuring accessibility considerations are included early on;
- Developing draft videos for review by the broader EOWG group;
- Processing and performing post-production for the video cuts;
- Editing and finalizing the examples in text and video format;
All Showcase TF activities will be carried out in close coordination with EOWG and key milestone results will be brought to EOWG for review and feedback. EOWG will approve the final deliverables. The milestones are indicated in section Timeline below. The work of Showcase TF will be publicly available.
Deliverables
Showcase TF is tasked to develop Showcase Examples with Videos, a series of 8-10 short stories in text and video. Each example demonstrates how a particular accessibility feature is used by people with disabilities, and the additional benefits it has for others. More details about the Showcase Examples with Videos is provided in the requirements analysis.
Timeline
Each of the following milestones will be developed in close coordination with EOWG and will be provided for review and feedback:
- Q3 2015
- Develop full scenarios, story boards, scenes, and scripts
- Q4 2015
- Casting and filming, developing raw clips, first videos
- Q1 2016
- Finalizing text and video examples, and post-production
- Q2 2016
- Review, refinements, and approval for official publication

Showcase TF communications are publicly visible. Communication mechanisms for Showcase TF include:

- Teleconferences: As needed. Minutes will be publicly available;
