Description:
Since CSS allows generated of UI element ("pseudo-elements" in CSS) like ::before and ::after with the use of the content property, an author should be allowed to override certain things on that element—like the label or hidden state.

Definitely an ARIA 2.0 thing, despite the fact that there are existing problems demonstrated in content today.
