Herewith travel info (for website) to enable people to get from their respective airports to Peterborough, by rail: From Heathrow: The Piccadilly line tube service runs direct from Heathrow to King's Cross mainline station. There is also a bus service from Heathrow to King's Cross. Airbus A2 runs at approximately half hour intervals from 0500 until 2200. From King's Cross GNER main line services run to Peterborough at least once an hour from 0615 until 2310. From Gatwick: The Gatwick Express runs at frequent intervals from Gatwick to Victoria station in London. The Victoria line tube service connects from there to King's Cross where GNER services run as above. From Stansted: There is a direct train service to Peterborough running at approximately hourly intervals from 0619 until 1951. From Peterborough station, get a taxi to destination (either hotel or RNIB offices). (there is also an international airport at Birmingham, for those attending Sight Village who wish to/can fly there. Birmingham International station serves the airport. Trains run every 15-20 minutes to Birmingham New Street Station. Change trains there and then there is an hourly service from Birmingham New Street to Peterborough.) Additional information for car drivers: Heathrow to Peterborough: North out of the Airport onto the M4 link. Turn left at the main M4 motorway in a westbound direction for two miles until it meets the M25 (this will be signposted M25) Turn right onto the northbound carriageway of the M25 and continue on the M25 until Junction 23. Turn left onto the A1 and continue north up the A1 until the A1139 turn to Peterborough. Birmingham International Airport to Peterborough: Leave the airport and join the M42 northbound until the insection with the M6. Turn right onto the M6 east/southbound. Continue on the M6 until the junction with the A14. Leave the A14 just before Kettering and join the A43 to Corby. At Corby turn right onto the A427 to Oundle and then turn left to Peterborough just after going through Oundle. (Peterborough will be signposted from this point).
