Long description for Viavoice Control Panel

The image shows the "General" dialog opened to the "Voice" tab. The other tabs available are Features, Dictionaries, and Identifiers.

The Voice tab allows users to set voice characteristics (and assign a label to a particular configuration). The various settings include:

• Vocal tract (Male or Female) and Head Size
• Pitch, Pitch fluctuation, Speed, Roughness, Volume, and Breathiness

There are other buttons on this tab: "Describe As," "Store," "Undo Changes," and "Edit Stored Voices."

The General dialog also includes, in two rows below the Voice tab, the buttons "Show Test Panel," "Save Speaker," "Save Speaker As," "Delete Speaker," "Test," "Ok," "Close," and "Help."
