ISSUE-319: Usable selector for empty elements

Usable selector for empty elements

State:
RAISED
Product:
Selectors Level 4
Raised by:
Elika Etemad
Opened on:
2013-04-04
Description:
:empty is often useless because it fails to match elements that contain white space

Options:

1. Redefine :empty to match elements that contain only whitespace
1.1 Add :void if the old definition has some real use case
2. Define a new pseudo-class that matches such elements
