Jason says each background image needs to be clipped individually, because some may be used to provide a background for the border and others not. There must also be control over whether the background color is clipped or shows under the border.

Molly also thinks images need to be clipped to border or padding each indvidually and expects that designers want control over clipping of background color, too.
