Hello everyone! I hope the new year is treating you all well. We are fine, though currently our girls are passing the chicken pox around. Long, itchy nignts... Bridget and Margo are working on wedding plans. Margo's date is August 14, and Bridget's is September 25! My poor parents...will they survive? We are looking forward to Watervale and seeing you all again. I finally got in touch with Doug Manning, the real estate agent who is handling the Glen Eden transaction, and spoke with him about getting memorabilia, signs, etc. He would like us to compile a list of any items we would like, and he will try to get them for us. He said most of the cottage furnishings and kitchen equipment have been given to the Salvation Army, but the lodge is still intact. The future of the lodge is unknown at this time, meaning they may choose to keep it up and not tear it down. Some of the cottages will be coming down soon, most likely the beachfront ones. He did mention that the cabin signs had been stolen, (they were already gone when you all went out there, correct?)and was quite upset about that, and that he is actually living on the property to avoid any more theft. He thinks they know who took the signs and feels that they may be able to recover them and give (not sell) them to us. This may all be old news to you, and you may have already sent your list to him. If you did not, I would be happy to compile a master list of items and take care of faxing it to him. His phone is (616)334-7000, and fax is (616)334-7004. I also spoke with a woman who rents homes by the week on Glen Lake, if anyone is interested in an additional vacation. She is a friend of Jan's, Pam DePuy. This may be the contact you have, Jane. So please get back to me as quickly as you canlas and let me know if you want me to send a list of items to him. Thanks. Miss you all. Ellen
