My hobbies include:
- In August 1994, I visited Badlands National Park, then the Black Hills
where you find
Mount Rushmore and
Crazy Horse National Monument nearby, which is much more important
in my opinion. It ist being carved out of solid rock. This takes dozens
of years, so you can't see much more yet than the head and the model.
But the Indian Museum of North America is also there, and the whole
effort is worth your support as the Black Hills belong to Native
Americans, as guaranteed in a 1870's treaty.
Talking about the value of paper as the Goldrush started...

Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks,
as well as shortly in
Grand Canyon National Park.
There is also
Mesa Verde National Park
Rocky Mountain N.P. with
Nymph Lake / Hallet Peak
which I climbed on 1-Oct-94.
