This On-line Notation Selection Tool perform conversion of mathematical expressions in XML format. It provides a graphical user interface to generate an XSLT stylesheet, which is then used to transform Content MathML to the Presentation MathML. This generated stylesheet is combined with a base stylesheet that may be specified, with the default being the ORCCA Content to Presentation stylesheet.
The user may select notational conventions from menus organized by mathematical area.
The Notation Selection Tool is initialized by an XML-format configuration file. This configuration file provides a database of concepts and alternative notations as well as template transformation rules to be applied for the selected notations. Advanced users may supply their own configuration files.
