Results
This is one of a set of pages that examine how inline white space is handled, particularly around linebreaks.
This test examines treatment of white space combined with ideographic text when the CSS styling white-space: normal is applied to the body element. It is relevant to the processing of Japanese and Chinese. Note: wrapping behaviour is irrelevant here.
Note: The assumptions it makes about expected behaviour are based on the white-space processing model described in CSS 2.1, with some additional interpretation based on common practise. For more on this see the discussion in the results page.
