1 WP1: Overall Project Coordination

1.1 Objective

Ensure the overall management, providing the legal, financial and administrative management framework for the project, and co-ordinate the CSA-SA activities, including a quality assurance process to ensure the monitoring and assessment of the progress and results across the CSA-SA.

1.2 Task 1.1: Project Administrative and Financial Coordination [DFKI, UL]

Deliverables resulting from this task: D1.1 Detailed Overall Management and Bodies Management, including the Quality Assurance Plan.

This task includes:

Contractual management (implementation of the Grant Agreement, consortium evolution and conflict resolution) and EU reporting;

Monitoring of the central budget dedicated to the CSA-SA activities and distribution of the Community contribution;

Production of the quality plan in liaison with the CSA-SA coordinator including monitoring of risks;

Preparation and management of the consortium agreement, which includes:

1) List of pre-existing know-how among the partners.

2) List of knowledge generated by the partner.

3) Meeting organisation and support (annual EC review meeting and member general assembly).

1.3 Task 1.2: Project CSA-SA Coordination [DFKI; contributors: TCD, DCU, UL, Cocomore, Linguaserve, VistaTEC]

Deliverables resulting from this task: D1.2.1 Report on Internal and External Communication Tools; D1.2.2 LT-Web Yearly Report; D1.2.3 Contact Database.

This task will be lead by Felix Sasaki. The main responsibility of this task it to ensure the achievement of the work plan throughout the entire project duration and will include:

1) Establishment of intra-project communication tools (mailing list, shared workspace).

2) Coordination of the dependencies across all work packages.

3) Stimulating and supporting of the exchange within the project on the scientific point of view.

4) Preparing the Progress Reports to inform the Commission annually on the progress of the objectives of the project, including achievements and identification of any deviations compared to the work plan.

5) Keeping a contact database, in coordination with the contact database developed within META-NET and taking the contacts gathered during the MultilingualWeb project into account.
