Hotel information

Hotel & Residence Roppongi is new and looks good but I've yet to find an English page for it.

More suggestions to come.

Airport

Haneda international airport is the closest airport but mostly only services international flights from Asia.

The other international airport is Narita airport.

From either airport, the limousine bus if often quite convenient and affordable depending on where you are staying.

Alternatively, if arriving at Narita, the Narita Express (NEX) or Keisei Skyliner provide a fast train service to Tokyo from which point you can catch a subway or taxi to your hotel.

(Note that the Skyliner is newer and shinier but it only takes you as far as Ueno which is probably further north than you want if you're staying near Roppongi and going by taxi. However, if going by subway you can take the Hibiya line directly from Ueno to Roppongi.)

Ground Transportation

The closest subway station is Nogizaka station (乃木坂駅) on the Chiyoda line (千代田線). Exit 3 is the closest exit to the office.

Roppongi station (六本木駅) on the Oedo line (sometimes called Toei Oedo line since it is run by a different company, 都営大江戸線) and Hibiya line (日比谷線) is also in reasonable walking distance. Take the exit marked for 'Midtown'.

You can use Jorudan to look for train connections.

Offsite Amenities

TBA

Currency

The local currency is Japanese Yen (JPY). At the time of writing, 1 USD is approximately 95 JPY. See currency converter for current conversion rates.

Electricity

Japanese electricity supply is 100V and the plugs are the same size as US outlets. Many North American appliances work without an adapter. See [1].
