XML Events

• Current events are almost all in terms of mouse:
  • onclick, onmouseover, onfocus, etc.
• Future event model:
  • will be device independent
  • will allow the definition of user events
• Will use the DOM (Document Object Model) event model
  • better harmonization with scripts
