Per discussion on mailing list:

Rename D3E -> UI Events

For current UIEvents, either:
(1) publish Note with current UIEvents content
(2) Fold current UIEvent content into D3E before rename

If we change the URL, we need to make sure to have a redirect link from the current D3E named URL to the new one.

Rename completed:
https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/dom3events/rev/2c9e94f84cc4

All occurances of the term DOM3, DOM Level 3 Events, etc. were updated to reflect the change.

Kept the (formerly known as...) in the title for a transition period.

Took the opportunity to move the old editors to the Acknowledgement section.

We should probably also rename the DOM3 Code and Key specs to something that matches UI Events :-)

Not resolving because I did not integrate anything from the current UI Events spec yet. Did not change the URL to the spec.

After discussing with PLH and Gary, our plan is to simply stop work on the old UIEvents spec and re-publish as a Note. The URL for the spec will be swapped for the newly renamed D3E, and the only way to find UIEvents (the Note) will be via the dated version.

As for the contents of the old UIEvents spec, we may or may not pick up that work in the future. There is an interesting development happening for Device Input which may be a home for some of the features therein (locale). The queryKeyCaps feature could also find a new home if someone was interested in picking it up.
