Description:

Interoperability with current practice in US captioning has been expressed as a desirable goal, however CEA 708 offers window out - no equivalent mechanism exists in DFXP for intermediate animation, but could possibly be approximated using set and extent.

Should intermediate animation of extent be added for use on regions?
