Circular dependencies

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0075.html

https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#Recalculate

Steven: I changed the text, please check for agreement.

Repeat processing (with readonly indexref)

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0071.html

https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#Index_Processing

Steven: Ditto for this

The insert Element (ID copying)

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0089.html

https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#The_insert_Element

Steven: I deleted the text about unique IDs

insert and delete (when at is out of bounds)

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0090.html

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0036.html

Steven: I did change the text for this. Should we silently not do anything when out of bounds, or generate an error?

Erik: What do we do with setindex for example?

Steven: If out of bounds it is set to 1 or max

Erik: There are two cases. One where it doesn't contain a number, and one where it is bigger or smaller

Steven: I'm inclined to think an expression error would be friendlier

Erik: I prefer that in general.

Steven: In that case I will make that change, and see if anyone screams

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to make out-of-bounds @at an error [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2016/12/14-forms-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2102 - Make out-of-bounds @at an error [on Steven Pemberton - due 2016-12-21].

Lazy authoring

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0056.html

https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#User_Interface_Initialization

Steven: I rewrote this. It was actually straight formward. Please check for agreement.

index() in model binding expressions

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0032.html

Steven: I will add text to note that you are better off using indexref than index()

<bind type="foo"/>

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0027.html

Steven: I agree it should be an error. Is that a binding error?

Erik: Sounds right

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to make unidentified type in a bind a binding-error [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2016/12/14-forms-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2103 - Make unidentified type in a bind a binding-error [on Steven Pemberton - due 2016-12-21].

insert and delete contexts

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0031.html

Steven: I will make these two consistent with each other.

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to make insert and delete contexts consistent [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2016/12/14-forms-minutes.html#action03]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2104 - Make insert and delete contexts consistent [on Steven Pemberton - due 2016-12-21].

ACTION-2087 - in-scope evaluation context

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0014.html

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Nov/0020.html

Steven: I tried rewriting this today, by describing the context trickling down, rather than how to get the context working outwards. It turns out to be much simpler. When I'm finished and happy with the result, I'll send it to the group for perusal.

Serialization as multipart/related

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0006.html

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2016Dec/0030.html

Steven: We still need to work on this.

Erik: We do do something.
... we use heuristics.

Steven: OK. I still need time to think about it.

Erik: It is interesting that the spec says it is populated by upload, which doesn't give you much control.

Steven: We need a datatype or other mechanism that says "this is a URI in the instance, but should be dereferenced for submission".

Erik: Ideally.

AOB?

[None]

[ADJOURN]

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to add note about preference of using indexref to index() [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2016/12/14-forms-minutes.html#action04]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2105 - Add note about preference of using indexref to index() [on Steven Pemberton - due 2016-12-21].
