Timeline check http://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/project

agenda order 1, 2, 3, 4, 7

DPub Roles CfC in DPub IG closes today

still have to do ARIA one

send Transition Request next week

and publish week of 28 Nov

Practices WD in Dec

need to check links, well formedness, respec errors, etc.

and write status section

aim for 14 Dec publication (ready by 9th)

AAMs have some pull requests from MS but not merging

<scribe> pending edits from Apple but not sure how much

so Jan publication still planned but getting tricky[

<clown> action-1732

<trackbot> action-1732 -- Michael Cooper to Work on conformance section for mappings (note there is a section, but change id=conformance so respec picks up) -- due 2015-10-14 -- OPEN

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/track/actions/1732

catching up on actions

DPub AAM still targeting Jan as well but also lots of pending mappings from Microsoft

Difficulties using Respec

Respec has been breaking, not running the structure code

for a while was most of the time

since Monday is less often but still happens

also seen that sometimes content is in wrong place

if refresh, tends to load

in Firefox can take multiple refreshes

in other browsers is just one

still happening but less often

Travis-CI build failures

Travis builds have been failing

could be related to the respec load problem

restarting build seems to help

but just since Friday

so the push build tends to fail, restart may work, sometimes a second restart needed

we´ll try to get it fixed

Respec a11y

when respec is building, should work on a node that isn´t displayed

or just show ¨processing¨ rather than the content

maybe Shane knows how to do this

could file an issue with Respec https://github.com/w3c/respec/issues

Matt to file cc Joanie who could help with duplicating issue for non-a11y people

Update on common files repository

https://github.com/w3c/aria-common

testing submodule in CSS-AAM repo https://github.com/w3c/css-aam

works on local machine

but not rawgit

we could abandon rawgit

or try something else like subtree merge, which is messy

this is holding up HTML-AAM

and rest of repo split

losing rawgit would be a problem

<joanie> +1 to keeping rawgit

might work in gh-pages but we´d lose our static snapshots

https://rawgit.com/w3c/css-aam/master/index.html

example of trying to use the submodule

Cleanup stuff migrated from repo

for HTML-AAM, replaced the doc with a page that says ¨look elsewhere¨

https://github.com/w3c/aria/blob/master/html-aam/html-aam.html

did this in master and gh-pages

for Practices follow this example

but for the subfiles (examples), remove so they 404

in both branches

this approach seems ok

there´s a meta refresh to the new location as well

Matt to do for Practices

AOB

none

zakm, next item

Next meeting is in 3 weeks

7 December 2016
