BP Document

BernadetteLoscio: talking about voting on publication of next draft during next two weeks
... will the group review document next week, continue work on adding examples or stop everything so group can review
... worried about comment tracker, open comments.
... comments still open, comment from andreas, about apis. open comments are a concern, not sure how to close comments, looking for help.

<yaso> https://docs.google.com/document/d/13q2CvZjMkjXrg7Pv7aTRuU5UL2J_-py09Vs_zJoaLso/edit#

yaso: regarding comments from Eric, and rest apis, annette prepared a proposal, have draft of a better version on best practices for APIs, made more general. have a good proposal, no examples yet.
... text still needed to be refined, but lots of progress. yaso will finish review today.

annette_g: getting there, about ready, will finish comments within next hour, fine to put it in

<BernadetteLoscio> https://www.w3.org/2006/02/lc-comments-tracker/68239/WD-dwbp-20150625/

BernadetteLoscio: comment tracker, some comments are about hyper media, fragmented identifiers, needs help on how to answer on comment tracker.

phila: has not read Eric's comments, need to understand them, close to being done, will take more time to review Eric W's comments, regarding process, need to get this publihshed before christmas. 17th is latest we can publish this year.
... is everyone happy that their organisation is happy with the document being published., people need to be comfortable with it before they vote.

BernadetteLoscio: working on best practices document, feedback is welcome about the distribution of benefits, association between benefits and best practices, d
... we are trying to have an example for each best practice, feedback is welcome
... group needs to review document but want to still add more examples

<Zakim> phila, you wanted to ask about challenges, benefits and lists

phila: wont have good examples for all bps, need to get it ready to be published.
... get document ready to be published as a working draft as opposed to trying to get it finished, get it ready to be published,
... three separate lists, suggesting that one of them is redundant., not sure which ones, SVG?

<annette_g> +1 for making the doc shorter

<yaso> +1

<laufer> I prefer the benefits

<phila> http://www.w3.org/2013/share-psi/bp/#bps

BernadetteLoscio: agrees, different views of same thing, benefits were to provide an integrated view of best practices compared to benefits.

phila: can list in terms of PSI directive. can list them in different ways, not for version going out next week.

yaso: perhaps split document, separate out section

<BernadetteLoscio> http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/bp.html#BP_Benefits

BernadetteLoscio: idea was not for index for best practices, best practice associated with benefits. I can remove diagram, since have steps in each section of document

<laufer> I vote for not removing the diagram

yaso: continue conversation by email. Do vocabs go with best practices

phila: yes if it could be done, can only publish anything if the group agrees

BernadetteLoscio: continue conversation by mail.
... if we are going to vote next week, do we need a proposal now or just by mail,

phila: need to let group know and put it in the agenda.

Data Quality Vocabulary

yaso: now talk about data quality vocabulary

<yaso> http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/issues/199

<yaso> http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/actions/203

<antoine> http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/vocab-dqg.html#express-that-a-dataset-received-an-odi-certificate

antoine: structured discussion on agenda, five main items, quality policy have new example they are happy with. part of progress, another part of issues required another example for qualtity, ways to express agreements for contractual obligations, WIP

<yaso> http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/actions/202

antoine: before move to other issues, still have action, 202, Giancarlo to share example on Service Level Agreement, still outstanding, any suggestions,

yaso: yaso can try to reach out to him

<yaso> ACTION: yaso to reach out with giancarlo about the http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/actions/202 [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/12/04-dwbp-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-220 - Reach out with giancarlo about the http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/actions/202 [on Yaso Córdova - due 2015-12-11].

antoine: he seemed to have good input to give so prefer if he gives input

<yaso> http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/issues/205

antoine: next item, representing quality dimensions in vocab, DAQ way *sublclass of abstract class" not so happy, looking at "skos concept", still open for discussion, cant progress with out Jeremy's buy in.
... will try to revive discussion, main blocking point for progress, it is standing in the way of quality and with issue 200, but could change based on decsion on 204 and 205

<yaso> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-dwbp-wg/2015Aug/0146.html

<yaso> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-dwbp-comments/2015Oct/0019.html

antoine: comment from andrea, have handled all suggestions and will send an answer and some questions, for Werner less discussion but some answer given by Jeremy, will try to relate his comments to previous raised issues
... if group agrees may publish new version but include open comments

<yaso> I muted myself due to a cough session, just a minute

phila: pressure to get a new version out, Jan vs Dec not a big deal, getting ready to publish different than finished.

antoine: keeping to hope to reach agreement in time but may publish now and resolve comments later

phila: vote next week?

<laufer> I see no problem

antoine: Ricardo and antoine will spend time making RDF file later, but wanted to ask group if ok to publish without rdf vocabulary

phila: good to avoid surprises but antoine is in control and will get support of group
... what is effort to make RDF Vocab, within next week

antoine: other things to do so it would be tough, where to spend time best.

phila: could create rdf document quite easily by next Friday, if this will give antoine more time

antoine: would be helpful for phil to create RDF vocab.

phila: will create an RDF vocab and put on github

yaso: do we need to create an action
... will create an action for Phil to create vocab

<SumitPurohit> +q

<phila> ACTION: phila to create RDF vocab for DQV [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/12/04-dwbp-minutes.html#action02]

<yaso> ops

SumitPurohit: planning to meet this week, corrections on agent classes and feedback part, subgroup meeting next week

<phila> close action-222

<trackbot> Closed action-222.

BernadetteLoscio: in last meeting had discussion on open issues, Eric made new version of model, description of new classes needs to be updates, will meet beginning of next week, do not have RDF implementation.
... still have some work to do before we can review document. but hoping for review next week

<yaso> any comments?

BernadetteLoscio: have new version of the model based on last meeting, no new open issues, not a lot to discuss.

<antoine> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/hcls/notes/hcls-dataset/

antoine: will speak about last issue, about healthcare and lifescience profile, dcat profile made but life science community, contains elements for data sets in community, may want to align qv and uv. should group have look at it or leave on side

phila: alignment is always good but way is around is put an issue in document and say what alignment should be.
... people talk about data set usage and data set vocabulary, but no one is using them, no evidence to draw on to point one way of other. keen for them to be published.
... note when document is done make note to work with HCLS community.can ask them for feedback

<phila> issue: What is the importance of the alignment between HCLS-DATASET and DQV?

<trackbot> Created ISSUE-221 - What is the importance of the alignment between hcls-dataset and dqv?. Please complete additional details at <http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/issues/221/edit>.
