<Arnaud> Proposal: Approve the minutes of the 30 March teleconf: http://www.w3.org/2013/meeting/ldp/2015-03-30
<Arnaud> Resolved: Approve the minutes of the 30 March teleconf: http://www.w3.org/2013/meeting/ldp/2015-03-30
arnaud: next call on the 27th of
April
... we only have one open action, to ericP, who is not
here.
... I don't know if he did it.
ashok: Andrei and I have done most of it
arnaud: ok, I'll close the action
arnaud: I was hoping Rob would be
here to talk about caching and paging.
... Let's see if he comes later during the call.
arnaud: we have a spec, we have a test suite
<Arnaud> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/ldpwg/raw-file/tip/tests/ldpatch/reports/ldpatch.html
arnaud: Pierre-Antoine considers
that the test suite is more or less complete
... Why don't we have implementation reports yet?
pchampin: my implementation does pass the tests, I just have to publish the report
arnaud: Alexandre has changed job
recently, he has an implementation, but I don't know how far he
is in passing the tests
... Anyone else with an implementation?
tallted: an implementation should be coming from OpenLink, but no timeframe
ashok: I asked some people at Oracle, they answered "not quite yet"
arnaud: we agreed to publish it
as a note, and Nandana agreed to do it
... but he has not finished yet
arnaud: it is next week
... thanks to Andrei for advertising it on different
channels
ashok: we only got one very brief
submission
... a lot of people have different ideas about what linked data
is or should be
... that should generate informal discussion
sandro: is there any plan to allow remote participation?
ashok: that will be hard; no telephone, and internet connexion will be charged
<Arnaud> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ldp-wg/2015Apr/0000.html
ericp: a HTTP cache should store
cached response with a few header values
... the Vary header is here to specify which headers should be
used
arnaud: should we says something in the spec?
sandro: I think that 'prefer' is by default used in cache, so 'vary: prefer' would be redundant
ericp: RFC7240 states that "a
Vary header field MUST be included in the response listing the
Prefer header field"
... which is good, because we can just remind that fact without
normatively changing anything in LDP
... (as the constraint was already implicitly inherited from
RFC7240)
http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7240
arnaud: the two editors are gone,
so I'm relunctant to go and modify the document
... let's reply to Rob and see what he thinks
... ADJOURNED
<Arnaud> trackbot, end meeting
