Eric: Appreciated all the feedback, I think we also have longdesc solution

<Joshue108> DavidMcD: Can I get some clarification on the approaches?

ERIC: Longdesc, recommending a link near the image...
... LD suport FF right click view description, but not notification of a Longdesc
... Longdesc extension, same with Firefox, what was lacking is mobile platforms

<Joshue108> DavidMcD: Do you have a matrix on a test page with SR and browser behaviours?

David: Do you have a test page for LongDesc

ERIC: We polled people we know who use it

<Joshue108> https://w3c.github.io/wai-tutorials/images/complex/

<Joshue108> JOC: So this longdesc work is good to go now?

David: I haven't reviewed the Longdesc situation, since its new

<Joshue108> EE: Yes, feedback has been positive.

ERIC: like MathML, Longdesc is working ...

<Joshue108> +q

<Joshue108> -q to ask about the status of the Table tutorial schedule

<Joshue108> +q to ask about the status of the Table tutorial schedule

<Zakim> Joshue, you wanted to ask about the status of the Table tutorial schedule

David: Oongdesc doesn't work in any iOS or Macbook

ERIC: will make note of that

Charter update

<cstrobbe> This is the most recent draft, right? http://www.w3.org/2013/04/draft-wcag-charter

List update – Using Call for Consensus

Charter update

Joshue: Michael says update on charter in a couple of days

List update – Using Call for Consensus

Michael: Charter is with the director, expect it soon

Josh: Will use list a lot more, in future

Michael: We can use list for a call for consensus, that is part of the plan. lots of preedent. Subject line CALL FOR CONSENSUS, time window for assent or object, some use 2 work days of 7 calendar days
... Some back with telecom, some don't... we'll document a proposal and take to the group
... Changing the way the list works, have spoken with those who might be removed, some emails not valid, haven't removed people yet but might happen in a few days
... Andrew would like to update that that will be when we use the list more

<Joshue108> DavidMcD: Will we be dropping our number of calls etc?

Michael: want to change this to a one hour call in near future
... calls are valuable for group cohesion but not good for wordsmithing, calls should only be used for situations where we can't use other modalities

David: Survey items
