Technique Assignments

Month left to do techniques.

Do we have a technique viewport meta setting?

Should be own technique, agreed, Kathy to add in.

WCAG call earlier has items in WIKI that may pertain to us.

Technique of sufficient would be higher priority.

Touch targets are advisory, we don't need to have it absolute.

Research by Jan and John mentioned 9 mms.

Touch targets for Web content and may not apply to device items.

Jan corrected us that he did research on font size

We will have one month left for deadline for WCAG. after that they will not get into release. Like to have 2-3 to get passed through WCAG working group into guidelines.

Technique Survey (#3 – G90) - https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/66524/20141007_survey/results

Technique Survey 3- G90

<AWK> FYI, amended G78 was accepted, Also G202 changes, and G9 changes

All agree to Kim's minor edits

RESOLUTION: G90, Accepted as Amended

Existing techniques reviewed by Kim to discuss

G107, clicking on a link should mention touch.

<KimPatch> http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/G107.html

Kathy asked is there a way to have a more generic lanquage?

We should have a mobile specific example for G107. Should put that into our grid.

Kim to do content changes as suggested. Not specifically add a mobile example.

<KimPatch> http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/G14.html

John suggests making suggestions as to what we think are good. Kim to be more specific on them.

Per Kathy, In status column of techniques put "In Progress" and "Completed" when done.

Let her know if changes are made and item is ready to go to survey as well.

That is all on agenda today.
