shadi: symposium status
<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/RD/2014/way-finding/
<peter_thiessen> (shadi: if it would help Christos with wayfinding discussion, I'm happy to scribe)
shadi: I did some openconf settings
viv: contacted some people doing research in the
area
... managed to get into the google docs an dget some things there
sh: remind klauss to update the wiki page
... why some people are not to sure to submit a paper
viv: not sure if their projects are mature
... trying to convice and encourage them to submit
sh: we should maybe refere to tham as abstracts... extended abstracts
viv: one of the is a museum doing intrested stuff in way finding
sh: have you done any desk research related to call out persons?
sh: or maybe developers
... what about mainstream developers?
viv: I might be able to get a hold on a developers group
sh: search the libraries and aske them
good idea
annika: I sent out the invitation to a couple of
people from germany
... maybe need a better coordination point
sh: switching to dropbox might be better...
... could be good to have a good mix from researchers and developers and
mainstream developers
peter: I could ask around and think about where to send it
the more diverge the persepctive the better the symposium will be
sh: there is a lot of work in these things so it's a good time
sh: we call the reports reserch reports
... maybe too broad and not reflecting correctly the work
... maybe something between symposium report and research report
... symposium are more objective
research report however migth be broader
sh: a better title to reflect on the work
<peter_thiessen> Could we add a / :) Research/Symposium Report?
viv: why not combining them?
<annika> +1 for combining
sh: do you feel it is between a full research report or a symposium report?
