ISSUE-215: duv:Publication versus foaf:Document

duv:Publication versus foaf:Document

State:
CLOSED
Product:
Data Usage Vocabulary
Raised by:
Eric Stephan
Opened on:

Description:
Data vocabulary reuse question: Should duv:Publication be a subclass of foaf:Document? In the citation model, duv:Publication is used as opposed to foaf:Document. It could be a subclass of foaf:Document. duv:Publication gives us an opportunity to extend it with the basic electronic citation requirements, on the other hand foaf:Document is more familiar.

Related notes:

For the time being duv:Publication seemed more fitting to support our needs.
