Contents

Shawn: There are many regrets, should we meet with the understanding that these topics will have to be discussed again next week? The focus is the two approaches to the tutorials and the Easy Checks comments. Thanks Paul for your wiki comments

Sharron: Makes sense to me to use the time on reading and commenting and then to discuss next week. Bim what do you think?

Bim: I have plenty to work on so it makes sense to wait for more people to be able to participate.

Suzette: There were public comments about Easy Checks additions that do not actually seem appropriate there but could be quite relevant within the tutorials.

EO Meeting at TPAC

Shawn: Registration is open, pay attention to visa requirements

Promoting Easy Checks

<shawn> http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/Promoting_Easy_Checks

Shawn: To help SEO, let's all link to the Easy Checks where we can email people whose pages do end up at the top of searches and ask them to link to us.
... send to various lists, blogs, etc

Promoting Role of techniques

<shawn> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-eo/2013JulSep/0008.html

Shawn: I sent an email to the list yesterday. There are important clarifications about the proper role of Techniques, clarifications have been posted as a draft.
... would be good to help point to it.
... would like EO to look at specific section

<shawn> http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/2013/WD-UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20-20130711/understanding-techniques.html

Shawn: question is the fact that the first section says "Techniques are informative..." followed by a note. Does the note fit where it is now or better under the Techniques section?

Small work groups

Shawn: Feel free to take initiative and find others in the public response document about what to work on and find others to work with you.

Bim: Thanks to everyone for useful comments on tutorials.

Shawn: So those are the highlights, please continue to work on your own and on the wiki, I will be gone next week and Shadi will lead.
